Ministry Partners

Pathway Community Church has many different individuals and organizations with whom we partner to multiply our effectiveness and to extend the reach and impact of our ministry.

  • The United Brethren In Christ, USA
Our denomination was the first with its origins in the new world, rather than being "imported" from Europe.  There are many great things about belonging to this denomination, but we especially enjoy the rich spiritual heritage.  One of our denomination's distinctives is that we "major on the majors and minor on the minors."  Many other denominations divide with each other over doctrines that aren’t essential to the Christian faith.  We leave these "disputable matters" (Romans 14:1) up to the conscience of each individual.  For our denomination’s website, click on the link above.  Our denomination also oversees Huntington University and Michindoh Camp and Conference Center .
  • Dove Counseling
Dove Counseling offers healing, help, and hope to the people of Jackson by providing services based on the whole-person concept of body-mind-spirit from professionals committed to Christ.  They work with Christians and non-Christians alike, but their work is based in a belief that God’s word provides the ultimate source of power for deliverance from everything that captures and binds us.
  • Youth Haven Ranch
This year-round camp is dedicated to meeting the emotional and physical needs of today's disadvantaged children.  The children who come to Youth Haven face various negative influences and circumstances such as abuse, neglect, or poverty.  Some have experienced tragic losses or suffer from the devastating effects of drug and alcohol abuse.  Boys and girls come to the ranch by referral from welfare agencies, school counselors, social service agencies, churches, or family members.  They are shown that they are valuable and loved unconditionally.  A variety of fun activities challenge them physically and mentally.  All children attend Youth Haven free of any charge or obligation.
  • World Impact
World Impact is a Christian organization dedicated to ministering God's love in the inner cities of America.  It ministers cross-culturally to people unreached by the gospel of Jesus Christ through evangelism, follow-up, discipleship and indigenous church-planting.  World Impact also empowers urban disciples, training leadership for the advancement of the Kingdom of God by providing Christian schooling; emergency food, clothing, medicine, and shelter; job training; tutoring; sports and recreation programs; and medical and dental clinics.
  • Good Seed Ministries
This dynamic church has a unique vision to reach the discouraged communities of south and west Chicago with the life-changing power of Jesus.  Through a holistic approach, they aspire to meet all the needs of the people around them—spiritual, emotional, and physical.  Their inspiring goals include the construction of a massive community center that will service the various needs of their community and the birthing of a daughter church that will carry these same values and mission to a nearby community.
  • Jarvis and Sue Ferguson (Peru)
  • Joey and Brooke Tartaglia (Papua New Guinea)
  • Steve & Lois Manda
have worked in Indonesia with New Tribes Mission since 1981.  Their ministry has included tribal church planting, boarding home parenting, and working at the missionary training center for Indonesians.  Their current assignment is at the missionary training center.  A facet of their ministry, begun in 2008, involves leading "vision teams" (short term mission trips) from churches in Southeast Asia who want to learn more about cross-cultural missions.  Another facet involves coordinating the MK (missionary kid) Education program of NTM-Indonesia.
