multiply our effectiveness and to extend the reach and impact of our ministry.

Our denomination was the first with its origins in the new world, rather than being "imported"
from Europe. There are many great things about belonging to this denomination, but we
especially enjoy the rich spiritual heritage. One of our denomination's distinctives is that
we "major on the majors and minor on the minors." Many other denominations divide with each
other over doctrines that aren't essential to the Christian faith. We leave these
"disputable matters" (Romans 14:1) up to the conscience of each individual. For our
